Courseversity Virtual Lab
Run science experiments online, sit a short practical exam, then study full revision notes.
Experiments
Every experiment follows the same nine steps, so you always know what to do next. Experiment Learning Notes are available before and after each exam, and they highlight the topics you need to revise.

How every experiment works
- 1. Learn. Read the key ideas and the safety rules.
- 2. Prepare. Predict what will happen and check the method.
- 3. Experiment. Run the virtual experiment with the equipment.
- 4. Observe. Record what you see, with the right detail.
- 5. Analyse. Calculate, draw conclusions and judge errors.
- 6. Examine. Take a short practical examination.
- 7. Review answers. Every answer is explained after marking.
- 8. Master the topic. Study the Experiment Learning Notes, with weak areas highlighted.
- 9. Practise again. Try different questions until you feel confident.
Why practise in a virtual lab?
A virtual lab lets you repeat a practical as many times as you like, make mistakes safely and get feedback straight away. It prepares you for real practical work and does not replace supervised laboratory sessions. The simulations are simplified models made for learning.
