About Courseversity
A free, structured and honest place to learn, from Grade 1 upward.
Our mission
Courseversity is a free online learning platform that turns school subjects into short, structured, interactive lessons. Our aim is simple: clear, well-organised learning that anyone with a phone or computer can use, whatever school they attend.
Who it is for
Courseversity currently serves primary school learners in Grades 1 to 6 (ages about 6 to 12), their parents and guardians, and their teachers. Secondary and university courses are planned and are labelled as coming soon until they exist.
What you can learn today
- Four subjects: Mathematics, English and Language Arts, Science and Social Studies, in Grades 1 to 6.
- 2,261 lessons, each with explanations, worked examples, practice questions and an answer key.
- A glossary of 4,389 school words, with fuller explanations for a growing set of key ideas.
- A Learning Lab for practice, flashcards and review, and a private Study Dashboard for planning.
How lessons are organised
Learning is arranged by grade, then subject, then unit, then lesson. Each lesson follows the same steps: discover, understand, worked examples, explore, practise, apply, common mistakes, check and master, and key takeaways, so learners always know what comes next.
Our curriculum approach
Courseversity is an independent curriculum informed by respected frameworks used around the world. They are reference points for what to teach and at what level. They are not endorsements, and Courseversity has no accreditation or formal affiliation with any of them. Read more on our editorial standards and the Courseversity educational standard.
How the content is made, and what is still to do
Lessons are drafted with the help of AI tools and prepared by the Courseversity editorial team against a written standard. At this stage lessons have not been individually reviewed by outside subject specialists. We say so plainly, and we will show a reviewer’s name and a review date on a page only after a real review has happened. If you find a mistake, please tell us on the contact page.
